Hey, Carolyn! I followed the link from Charlie's blog once I saw that you went to LCU and are also a sometimes church of Christ attender (me, too, although these days it's more "non-" than "sometimes"), on the off chance that we've met. I don't believe we have, but I see we both know Amy Peterson. I've met more people who also know Amy-- she does get around!
My hubby graduated from LCU as well, but since I'm going to UT I won't have that particular alma mater. ;) I'll be adding you to my blog roll and coming round more often!
Yes, Amy Peterson (then Amy Dodd) was a partner in crime for me. Well, she was actually my partner in rebellious haircuts. But she has become much more over the years. This year she has ministered to my family with God's grace in amazing ways.
I only went to LCU for the one year (Aug 1997 to August 1998), but it cost me a pretty penny. I can understand how you wouldn't want to shell out that kind of money. I have several family members who are Texas Tech Red Raiders.
I'm glad we have "met" now and will enjoy keeping up with you. We'll have to do coffee together with Amy one of these days and meet all proper-like. ;)
Wow, I was in the AIM program at that same time! We both met Lubbock in the same year! ;) My husband came a year after that, so you wouldn't have met him.
